This shot was taken at Port Sunlight Wirral. There is a remarkable war memorial there with bronze sculptures of representative figures. The low angle makes the shot more dramatic. I wanted to contrast the real message of children suffering during war with today's tendency to forget. Thus in post production I gave the image a surreal and temporary crumpled throw away feel.
